Man With Amnesia For 30 Years Remembers Where He’s From

Construction worker Zhu Jiaming, who suffered from amnesia, had not been able to go home for three decades after injuring his head in a work accident and losing the majority of his memory. He also lost his ID and became homeless before he met a couple at work, who offered to let him live with them, some 900 miles from his hometown of Fujian. One day, while watching a coronavirus report about his hometown, Zhu suddenly remembered that's where he was from. He went to the local police, who were able to track down his now 83-year-old mother and four siblings. His father had passed away 18 years ago. Zhu is now waiting to be reunited with his family.
