Symphony of the Seas is an Oasis-class cruise ship owned and operated by Royal Caribbean. Built in 2018, it weighs 228,081 tons, is 1,184 feet 5 inches in length, and stands 238 feet tall. It is currently the largest cruise ship in the world. The ship is able to accommodate 5,518 passengers, as well as a 2,200-person crew. There are 16 decks for guest use, 22 restaurants, 4 pools, and 2,759 cabins. Facilities include a children’s water park, a full-size basketball court, an ice-skating rink, a zip line that’s 10 decks high, a 1,400-seat theater, an outdoor aquatic theater with Olympic-height platforms, and two 43-foot rock-climbing walls. Cruise plans run from $700 to $900 for 7-night cruises, departing from Miami, Florida, and cruising to St. John’s Antigua; Charlotte Amalie, St. Thomas; CocoaCay, Bahamas; and returning to Miami.
