Bride Who Asked Guests For Gifts Worth a Minimum of $400 Is Being Roasted Online

Weddings are normally beautiful celebrations of love, with families and friends coming together to spend the magical day with the happy couple. The amount of preparation and effort it takes for both bride and groom to organize the event can be stressful, which could be one reason some brides morph into “bridezillas.” As is customary, couples often set up gift registries as a guide for guests. One future bride, however, took that duty a little too far when she compiled a hysterical list of things she wanted as gifts and instructed her guests to not bring anything that cost under $400. Some of her list included KitchenMaid appliances (“this does NOT mean regular kitchen items like an apron or spatula!”); any Gucci or Louis Vuitton purses (“other purses are allowed, but please consult me first.”); clothing over $400 from Calvin Klein, Moschino, or Nora’s; new floors for the entire house; a new car (“or anything in relation to the car”); and, of course, $400 in cash (“or more”). Needless to say, comments began flooding in from social media users, who had some hysterical opinions. Here are some of the best.
