Texas Aquarium Creates Unusual Animal Friendships

Animals at zoos around the world are coming to terms with no visitors coming through the doors. After years of interactivity with the public, there’s no doubt that many animals are feeling life is a little dull at the moment. That’s why the staff at the Texas State Aquarium in Corpus Christi has come up with the idea of putting animals together that would otherwise be worlds apart in the wild. They discovered that putting sloths near dolphins was a big surprise. It turns out that the dolphins are absolutely delighted with the sloths, and the sloths, which are normally very quiet animals, have been squeaking replies back to the dolphins for hours at a time. Who could have guessed that these two species would be such a great match?
