Reunion In Paris

Anne Parish, an American writer, and her husband were on vacation in Paris in 1920, when she picked up a book while they were browsing bookshops. She told her husband that she used to have a copy of this particular book — Jack Frost and Other Stories — when she was a child. It had been a gift, and just seeing the book bought back wonderful memories of her childhood. As her husband began admiring the book, he pointed out something Anne had overlooked — on the flyleaf the book contained Anne’s name and her childhood address. It turns out that not only was the book one she remembered from childhood — it WAS her book from childhood!
